Down replica-র লেখা সুস্থ প্রতিবেশী জমিয়ে রাখে, node ফিরলে বুঝিয়ে দেয় — temporary outage client-কে জানাই না।

n3 write করে + hint রাখে: (target=n2, k, value)
n2 ফিরলে → n3 replay hints → n2 catch-up → hint মুছে যায়- Availability বাড়ায় quorum ভাঙার আগেই: sloppy quorum-এ write পাশের node-এ overflow করে, handoff সেটা ঘরে ফেরায়
- Hint-এ target identity থাকে — data ঋণপত্র, স্থায়ী বসতি নয়; TTL ছাড়া মৃত node-এর backlog চিরকাল জমে
- Cassandra-র বাস্তব implementation; failure detection (gossip/phi accrual) এর সঙ্গে জোড়ায় চলে
